We are back in school and things couldn't be busier. Zach has been studying a ton and I have been working a lot. I'm very grateful for our upcoming Monday off. We need it. Zach changed his major to Chemical Engineering and he is already loving it. My kids are keeping me busy with all their little behaviors that popped up after the holidays and Parent Teacher Conferences this week. I do love my job though and I want to share funny things:
- Today I was benchmarking them and working on IEP goals with them and later in the afternoon one of my students said, "Thank you for testing me!" and gave me a hug. It is nice when your efforts are appreciated...cute it came from him.
- In the last week 2 of my students have, separately and unbeknownst to the other, sang "Don'cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me, don'cha..."
P.S. I graduate in 3 months!

i remember the feeling of changing majors for the 2nd or 3rd time and finally realizing I felt right about it. my head cleared up and i felt quite a burden lift from my shoulders/mind!
